manufacturing company

Our client is a Fortune 100 company that is a manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines, and industrial gas turbines. The company is a technology leader in construction, transportation, mining, forestry, energy, logistics, electronics, financing, and electric power generation.

The client decided to upgrade their PeopleSoft system while simultaneously rolling out additional functionality to all of the US and 26 additional countries. Further adding to the challenge, this new functionality would touch all 55,000 employees of the client, marking the first time that an application would impact employees worldwide. The client required a comprehensive PeopleSoft end-user training solution to support a significant business application upgrade.

Working with internal trainers and the PeopleSoft eRecruit Global Business Process Owners, Synaptis created eight PeopleSoft web-based training (WBT) courses in both English and French to support the rollout of the new eRecruit system and six PeopleSoft WBT courses in both English and French for the new Employee Review system. The courses are SCORM 1.2-compliant and integrate with the client's SABA Learning Management System. Finally, to handle the change management required for the new application, Synaptis developed a fully custom WBT to introduce the new application to users in terms of the client's long-term strategy for remaining competitive.
