Enterprise systems training for Fortune 500 company

Our client is a leading provider of comprehensive waste management services serving, commercial, industrial, and residential customers throughout the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. The client’s network of operations allows the company to offer a full range of waste and environmental services to approximately 20 million residential customers and over two million commercial customers.

The internal enterprise services group had been chartered with handling the change management and training required for the company to reengineer its business processes company-wide. This effort involved defining job roles, consolidating systems, and integrating various businesses into a unified business model. The model was applied to 66 markets and 1,200 sites in North America. All resources, tools, templates, and training content needed to be scalable to handle the entire project while still effective in each individual market.

Synaptis was selected to augment the training staff and to develop and deliver custom end-user training solutions for a wide variety of business applications. These solutions included instructor-led training materials, on-the-job support tools, and web-based training modules for 17 unique business applications including PeopleSoft (HR, Financials, and CRM), Hyperion, Maximus, Remedy, AlphaBlox, and several proprietary applications. Synaptis provided style guides and material templates to ensure consistency as the client implemented a role-based training program.

Over a period of four years, Synaptis provided the resources to enable an easily customized, instructionally sound, centrally maintained, and scalable end-user training program to reach virtually all of the 55,000 employees through a combination of instructor-led and web-based training solutions.
