UPK Training Strategy Consulting Services
Synaptis provides training assessment and discovery consulting to help clients develop
an end user training strategy for application implementation or sustainability leveraging
the use of UPK. Customized UPK Training can eliminate the need for the creation of a training database.
We can solve your end user training needs in a variety of ways including instructor-led training,
virtual instructor-led training, web-based training, targeted learning bytes, or developing “real life”
exercises and scenarios. We develop training materials to use data that matches what the users
will see when they access the live application.
Implementation Consulting Services
Synaptis develops an implementation plan for UPK training including customization
that will support the training strategy and the application implementation. Training should be involved in the early stages of the implementation project. UPK typically comes with some standard training content that will need to be customized
to meet the needs of client's business processes. Oracle’s pre-designed content may not match your application, be it because of business process or software customizations. Developing customized UPK content can be faster than editing pre-designed content. We can incorporate existing documents or specific company vocabulary, concepts, and procedures. Adding information about workflow and using customized scenarios or exercises are valuable reasons to customize your user productivity kit.
Implementation Consulting may include:
Development of preliminary topics by the client's content authors, with support from a
Synaptis UPK Consultant. This begins with a classroom session, to kickoff the program,
review the agenda for the program, agree the topics to be developed and reviewed, and
revision of UPK functionality, as required. With plans and preparation, Synaptis helps create your vision.
Review of client's content structure by a Synaptis UPK Consultant. This ensures the
quality and consistency of deliverables and identifies opportunities for improvement and
time saving. We view learning as a continuous process.
Review of client's installation, backup, development, QA, publishing and deployment
approach, to ensure that an effective process has been established around the use of
UPK.
Review of client's project plans, timelines, transaction lists and role matrices, as
appropriate. The analysis is performed in order to establish the critical success factors
necessary for a successful implementation, including the identification of risks associated
with the development and deployment of UPK content.
Off-Site Development Services
Synaptis UPK Services can provide remote development services using UPK to
develop customized content for the client's business processes and database. Client
will need to provide VPN access to the database.
